The congregation’s third church is a limestone classical temple with a monumental pedimented portico of six fluted Ionic columns. Field (1884–1968) and Lauck (1888–1969), both natives of Kansas City, moved to Wichita Falls in 1914 and 1919, respectively. The church and its attached buildings create a U-shaped complex with spaces for classrooms and offices. A worship center added in 2005 extends the church complex over two blocks to the west. The glazed wall along 9th Street is punctuated by plain columns that are a modernist interpretation of the original building’s classicism. At the building’s western end is a stepped tower formed of translucent glass supporting a large bronze cross.
