This 230-seat suburban movie hall was built by the R & R Theatre Company. It has a small marquee and street-facing walls of greenish tile, along with an asymmetrically placed modernistic tower topped by two pylons that have star-like balls near the tops of spear-like poles. Since 1981, the building has housed the Angelo Theatre Center, operated by the nonprofit Angelo Civic Theatre, which traces its roots to 1885.
