These five Greek Revival houses are a type more commonly found in the Lower Garden District. Two stories high, with two-story galleries on slender piers, the houses are distinguished by an austere simplicity of form, Greek Revival shoulder molding around the windows and doors, and the height of the interior rooms, unusual within the scale of the Vieux Carré. The exteriors are brick stuccoed and scored to resemble stone. Their setback from the property line with small gardens in front makes their elegant severity easier to view. The wooden fence extending along the front of the houses is new.
