Concrete Brutalism arrived in Colorado with this boxy, four-story compound housing an entire campus. The architect calls it “a strong, dependable, brutal and honest form looking towards the future.” Geared to working students, it was one of the first community colleges to include a day care center and a central “family room” learning resources center.
