One of the many early-twentieth-century post offices in Texas designed under the supervision of Taylor, this two-story brick example now serves as an office building. The tiled hipped roof with bracketed overhangs recalls Cass Gilbert's similarly styled Battle Hall (
AU41.3) on the University of Texas at Austin campus.
