Built by R. H. Woodworth, another executive of the Port Arthur Townsite and Land Company, Rose Hill is an expansive two-story wooden Colonial Revival house with outstretched galleries. Given to the City of Port Arthur in 1947, its grounds have become a city park. Nearby at 801 9th Avenue is Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church by Long Architects of Beaumont; across the street is the parish's open-air shrine to its patroness.
