1978, 3/D International, Rike/Ogden. 200 S. 10th St.

The Neuhaus Tower was McAllen's first high-rise property. Continually serving as a banking facility, the seventeen-story, square-plan building sheathed in glass and concrete panels makes a concerted effort to stand apart. It sits in the middle of a city block surrounded by a sea of parking. Rivaling Main Street by the mid-twentieth century, S. 10th Street is a busy commercial corridor designed to serve the automobile, with detached structures that provide ample parking space.
