Late 19th–early 20th century. 1200–1900 blocks of Austin Ave. and Main St.

Named for local builder C. S. Belford, many of the turn-of-the-twentieth-century houses in the Morrow and Lost additions are products of his work. The eight-block district includes the city's finest dwellings for the most important families. Queen Anne, Prairie School, and most Victorian house styles are present. This district became the first area in the city for residential rehabilitation in the 1980s.
