The street elevations of Beaumont's largest department store pivot about a bull-nosed corner bay, articulated with giant-scale fluting in cream terra-cotta. Taking note of changing times, Fred C. Stone and Llewellyn W. Pitts qualified the White House's urbanity by affixing a drive-in entrance (still intact) to the back of the building.
