The former bank is a three-story block faced with Texas Cream limestone and decorated with Art Deco relief panels. As in other towns in the upper Texas coastal plain where oil provided sudden wealth in the 1930s, Liberty's businesses celebrated with an extensive application of non-native limestone facing and modernistic decor.
