A dramatic arch enclosing the entrance and a large arched window dominate the two-story stone facade of this building. The geometric pattern around the arch and band of small arches along the cornice reflects the simplicity of Art Deco ornamentation. The Newman Manufacturing Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, provided the bronze window casings and fittings for the doors, lamps, the sign with the company's name, and the eye-catching bronze ship in full sail, set against the glass of the top of the arch.
