c. 1776, c. 1860. 57 Forge Rd.

Set far back from Forge Road on a large, amply treed lot, The Grange, like Forge Farm, is essentially an eighteenth-century farmhouse remodeled in the mid-nineteenth century, in this instance by the granddaughter of the builder, Elihu Greene (brother of Nathanael Greene, above), Emily Greene Waterman, who used this as a summer retreat from her house in Providence.
