This small gambrel-roofed house with its narrow clapboards and heavily molded dormer abuts the former site of Wickford's fish shacks and shipyards. It has been enlarged by a narrow, sharply pitched lean-to off the rear—an awkward addition for a gambrel, although there is a certain charm in the directness with which the need for expansion was met.
