Built a year apart, the Reynolds House and Wickford House are two Federal structures that show the kind of variation that was possible within the standard framework of a pilastered and fanlighted entrance. That of the Cyrus Northrup House has unusual rustication inside the pilasters; the Reynolds House has a more conventional treatment enhanced by quite delicate reeding.
