The third radio station of the downtown was a refacing of one of Frank Furness's houses for the Ashurst family (1871). It too made a strong visual statement with pressed-copper cubist ornament at the base, a slick polished granite facade, a crowning molded terra-cotta cornice of crisp geometric planes, and angled lights with neon letters facing the street emblazoned with the radio station name.
