1911–1912. 111 Point St.

This flour mill replaced the original 1885 structure after a fire destroyed it. It is rare to find a flour mill so close to its original condition and so well integrated into its village, and retaining most of its original equipment. The large frame building is three-and-one-half stories, with paired windows on each elevation. Previous mills on the site used hydraulic power from a dam upstream. The Patterson Mill, however, generated its power from a steam engine. Eventually, this engine was replaced by electric motors, which were in use when the mill closed in 1980. The various outbuildings were added in the 1950s.
