c. 1874. 211 Main St.

Halfway up the hill in Chicora is the frame former English Lutheran Church. It has a cross gable and incorporates both Stick and Shingle Style elements. The slate roof is laid in alternating bands of diamond- and rectangular-shaped slate shingles, and a small faceted bell tower with a hexagonal spire and elongated paired brackets marks the corner entrance. Pointed-arched windows indicate a Gothic Revival influence. For nearly 130 years, there was a German Lutheran Church opposite this building, but it was demolished in 2003.
