With six stories, this bold, complex structure sheathed in glass, aluminum, and brick includes 680,000 square feet, making it the largest academic building on campus. The visible framework, exposed mechanical and cooling towers, and interior stainless steel railings affirm the high-tech style. The atrium, capped in glass, forms a prominent north–south, light-filtering internal axis and meeting place. From its observation deck, there are spectacular views of campus and the Lansing skyline.
