This Classical Deco facade provides an architectural lesson in adept handling of an urban street corner. The curved glass shop windows, capped with a steel canopy, direct the pedestrian's attention in two directions, to the Broad Street and 4th Street entrances. A display window on the second-level corner was designed to catch the attention of approaching drivers and pedestrian traffic.
