On Tonbridge, Cambridge, and Penshurst streets are examples of the English vernacular T. C. Williams favored, as well as examples of the Colonial Revival houses that are more numerous in Windsor Farms. Williams commissioned this copy—loosely interpreted—of the famous cottage in Stratford-on-Avon to establish a historic English ambience. Of course, the half timbering is simulated and the roof is imitation thatch.
