A tight, compact design utilizing the Romanesque style has perhaps a touch of the round-arched forms associated with the early Christian architecture of Syria. A deep, high two-story loggia gives entrance to the tall, solid mass of the building. The side walls of this mass exhibit three elongated arches that frame three windows. Finely worked stone was used for the details of the building as well as for sheathing the walls.
