A typical Colonial Revival residence of the 1920s in Hawaii, the clapboard-sided main body of this two-story house, with its lateral-running steep gabled roof, pedimented dormers, and double-hung sash windows, presents a symmetrical facade to the street. A single-story, flat-roofed sun porch, now enclosed, breaks the symmetry on the leeward, makai, side, which is a common feature of such houses in Hawaii. The gabled addition on the mauka side dates from a more recent period.
