Presiding over the town, the broad horizontality of Lanai Company's office building dominates the uphill side of Dole Park. A centered, hipped roof, capped by a cupola, shelters the brick main body of the building and its wraparound lanai, while board-and-batten wings extend from either side. The body and wings combine to provide a monumental building that responds to its neighborhood.
