c. 1875. 1981–1982, Paul D. Marshall and Associates. South side of Washington St. between Center and Charles sts.

Built on the public square, this one-story, gableroofed frame building has a square, louvered belfry. First built as a church, it later became the town hall. Its conservative Greek Revival lines belie its late nineteenth-century date. The building was restored in 1981–1982.
