Peter Ellis of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill designed this sleek skyscraper with white limestone and glass walls, which wrap around a cylindrical core of silvery-painted copper. Along the roofline, vertical glass fins suggest the crenellations atop a fortress tower. At ground level, residents enter through a grand four-story portal, defined by piers striped in white and taupe stone, with glass canopies sheltering the openings. Expansive windows and broad, inset balconies provide each luxurious condominium—ranging from nearly 3,000 to more than 4,000 square feet in area—with extraordinary views of Lake Michigan. Inside, the lobby features rich finishes, including burgundy-colored stone panels imported from Germany, a silver-leafed wall, and white marble floors. A health club, a large private garden for sunbathing, a wine-tasting room, and other amenities make this one of the most desirable addresses for Milwaukee’s upper crust.
