This red brick Romanesque Revival building with white stone trim, a corner entrance, and a second-story gallery anchors the southwest corner of the square and is one of the few high-style commercial buildings in town. German immigrant Hugo Zapp built it for his dry goods store. It currently operates as a bed-and-breakfast.
