1875–1893; 1955 renovation. 172 W. Coll St.

This is the oldest congregation in New Braunfels. On this site early settlers held their first services in a log church on Palm Sunday, April 5, 1846. The log church was replaced by this Gothic Revival church built of cut local limestone, its cornerstone laid in 1875. A stepped bell tower ornamented by lancet windows and topped by a wooden cupola was completed in 1893. Due to the growing congregation, renovations to the church were made in 1955 along with a rear addition.
