The 1,285-foot-long concrete and steel structure with three steel truss spans, concrete piers, and a long concrete approach at its west end crosses the Colorado River as Loop 150, two blocks west of the Bastrop Commercial Historic District. The former railroad bridge has been converted for use as a hiking and biking trail.
