This museum’s austerity and modernist vocabulary produce an uncomfortable contrast with its historic setting. Nonetheless, the collections of artifacts, photos, and documents inside interpret ranching and cowboy rodeo culture, as well as local Native American heritage. An annual cowboy poetry event accompanies the induction ceremonies to the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame.
