Hamilton House

1929–1930, Ernest Kennedy. 2345 Linden Dr. S.E.

A large stucco, tile-roofed Mediterranean house is just barely visible at the turn of a long driveway leading up from the public road. A band of three arched windows surrounded by a stone frame dominates the projecting entrance wing of the house. Ernest Kennedy, the designer of this well-carried-out period revival dwelling, was a well-known Minneapolis architect who designed houses for many of Minneapolis's first families, the Pillsburys, the Gales, and others.
