Of all the Postmodern office buildings constructed in Downtown West, Republic Place, a ten-story office block, ranks among the most eccentric. Here, the brick of the facade is laid out in a Flemish bond, with gray and red headers interspersed with tan stretchers. Beneath the red-mullioned windows are panels formed of red square bricks. The colorful surfaces seem to have been designed to attract attention to the distinctive building rather than to harmonize with nearby buildings. The octagonal corner tower is topped by concrete urns, which also adorn the parapet along both facades.
