This recently restored frame hotel consists of a two-story original structure with a smaller 1902 frame addition. It was stuccoed to comply with a new ordinance after a 1913 fire that claimed the hotel's ice-house and stables, along with other downtown buildings. The third-story gables retain their original bargeboard and wood shingles in an alternating square and fishscale pattern beneath a sunburst. In contrast to the Queen Anne facade, the other three walls are plain-Jane stuccoed planks.
