1921, Jesse Nusbaum. 1930s, additions

Sited spectacularly on the rim of Spruce Tree Canyon, the superintendent's residence echoes the ruins across the canyon by incorporating some peck-marked stones that were once part of prehistoric structures and a distinctive Anasazi T-shaped doorway in the basement wall. Three-foot-thick masonry walls survive, although the corner fireplaces have been removed and the openbeam ceiling has been sealed.
