From Whitewater, the scenic Land's End dirt road twists up Grand Mesa to attain spectacular views. At the cliff top sits a rough shelter with moss-covered native volcanic rock walls, a stone floor, and log ceiling beams. An observation deck overlooks the canyon lands of western Colorado. Nearby is a rustic stone eight-hole outhouse.
