A hospitable, full-length front porch and generous dormers in the mansard roof distinguish this vernacular stone dwelling. Despite the name, it was built in 1909. The 18-inch stone walls shelter six guest rooms. The inn was earlier the Lamme Hospital (1912–1940s) and then a boarding house before conversion to a bed and breakfast in 1981.
