In March 1796, planter Lillibridge from Newport, Rhode Island, purchased tything lot 15 of Warren Ward. There he built two

wood-frame, gambrel-roofed houses, which are unusual in Savannah. This house, the larger of the two, was moved from 310 E. Bryan Street to its present location in 1963 and heavily restored. The other was demolished.
