This living history museum occupies 4.5 acres of a former 365-acre wheat and sheep farm on the Blackland Prairie. The two-story Queen Anne house built by Hunter and Mary Alice Farrell was occupied by descendants who operated the farm until 1972. The polychrome, gable-fronted, wooden house is wrapped by a one-story porch. Remaining outbuildings include a potting shed, kitchen garden, curing shed, carriage garage, blacksmith shed, and a pole barn built of bois d’arc logs. Pittman Creek to the east still winds through the engulfing suburban landscape.
