In operation until 1980, this fire station served the central business district for almost seventy-five years. The corbeled brick cornice and second-story rustication provide

considerable visual interest for a civic structure despite its diminutive size. The fire station was restored as a part of the work on City Center Towers I and II (FW6) and now houses an exhibition of Fort Worth history.
