Delta stonemason John Jeffers constructed this Romanesque Revival red brick two-story bank trimmed with sandstone from nearby Escalante Canyon. The square, three-story mansard-roofed corner tower is Delta's skyscraper. After the last tenant, the Last Chance Saloon, closed, the town's foremost landmark was restored, from its pressed metal ceiling to the polished pink granite corner entry. It is now the Visitors' Center and Chamber of Commerce offices. Catercorner, at the northeast corner of Main and 4th streets, is the former Colorado Bank and Trust Company (1914), in similar stony Neoclassical garb, rehabilitated for use as City Hall.
