1906. Northwest corner of U.S. 287 and Park St., in the town park

Small-town depots such as this anchored isolated prairie towns, as railroads delivered food, clothing, coal, and even shelter (in the form of mail-order houses). This passenger depot, with its distinctive radiating wooden screens in the gable peaks, was moved here for preservation as a museum, with UP caboose 25400 on display.
