1899. 1206 Euclid Ave. (southeast corner of 12th St.)

This two-story dwelling of regular, squarecut, quarry-face ashlar sandstone sits behind the fine stone wall of its wrap-around porch on a large corner lot. Pairs of Tuscan columns supporting the balconied and balustraded porch suggest four-square houses, as do the symmetrical attic dormers. Four tall chimneys of the same stone used for the skin and the trim soar above a hipped roof with hipped dormers. Inside are a Tiffany stained glass window, an Italian tile fireplace, and collections and exhibits on Boulder's history.
