The center was designed for university and community live performance events. The cone-shaped concert hall, sheathed with light green textured-concrete panels, sits under a broad shelter supported by exposed columns. Enveloped by a curved glass curtain wall that weaves in and out of the temple-like perimeter columns, the fifty-foot-tall lobby is oriented toward the bay. Inside, a 1,500-seat auditorium with state-of-the-art acoustics includes two wraparound seating galleries and a floating wooden stage floor.
