This frame building is a combination store and residence. The storefront has tall, narrow display windows and a recessed entrance. Indicative of the upper level residential use is the cantilevered second-story gallery with decorative sawnwork, a form often seen on late-nineteenth-century commercial buildings in the Valley. Another nearby example is at 148 W. King Street.
