Subtle differences, some original, some later, try to disguise the fact that these twin American Foursquares, with a dose of leftover Queen Anne flavor, were designed and built together. Their massing, however, remains virtually identical. One of the Norton brothers, for whom they were built, purchased the Pryor Farm and developed Highland Park.
