Early 20th century. Southwest of the church

This wonderfully picturesque group of attached houses, constructed of oversized, dark red brick, has large gables filled with half timbering. Variety is achieved by varying the heights and widths of the gables, and the central one incorporates a full attic story in its expanse. These now-deserted houses, along with the similar Tudor Revival superintendent's residence on a nearby hill, are among the most individualistic coal company buildings in the region.
