1877. 109 High St. (east end of High St., east of the intersection with Chancery St.)

The town doctor built this Italianate brick house at the end of a dead-end street, a stone's throw from the Scott House and the courthouse. The main block is a narrow rectangle with rudimentary pilasters dividing the facade into three bays. The segmental-arched windows, some single, some paired, have ornate metal hoods. A small frame office, once used by a surveyor, stands in the yard.
