A two-and-one-half-story, central-chimney house typical of the plain country Federal treatment is here restored to natural boarding with a roof of cedar (rather than the usual asphalt) shingles. As early as 1807 it was sold to the Fenner family and has served as an inn and an antique shop, and is now again a residence.
