Pointed-arched stained glass windows make this simple one-story gable-roofed church arguably Gothic Revival, but its dark stained shingle walls allow it to blend with the many nearby shingled cottages. A small two-story gambrel-roofed rectory is attached near the rear of the church. The town's other two active churches are the Gothic Revival Presbyterian church (1887, Albert C. Little) on Pennsylvania Avenue and the 1907 Shingle Style former Methodist (now Federated) church at Allegheny and Laporte avenues. A 1922 Baptist church is no longer active.
