Cope and Stewardson are best known for their Collegiate Gothic work at Bryn Mawr (

MO9.6), Princeton University, and the University of Pennsylvania (
PH147.8, PH147.12), but their domestic architecture was equally assured. Here their deference to the mid-nineteenth-century context is exquisite.
