Oley Valley is made even more scenic by possessing one of the most spectacular of the state's covered bridges. It spans Manatawny Creek with a single arch of 128 feet that is carried by a novel scheme of two pairs of Burr arched trusses one above the other. Light is provided within because the exterior siding stops at the rafters, creating a linear opening the length of the bridge.
